A great game that had everything - plenty of goals, chances, a sending off for us etc. We opened the scoring when Kit Cummins hit a brilliant left foot shot from the edge of the box into the top corner. We doubled our lead when dean McKirdy, playing in midfield, hit a shot which took a deflection and ended up in the net. We looked comfortable at this stage but by half time the game was level at 2-2.
A comprehensive win with Kit Cummins scoring the first seven goals of the game , and was then subbed! Scoring started early with a low drive in the first few minutes and then a back flick from a corner made it 2-0. A short back pass allowed Kit in for his third and good work by Rudi Kingwaya with a low cross allowed Kit to make it 4-0. A header from a free kick and a direct free kick from edge of the box made it 6-0 at half time.
A game where we never got going, with passing poor at times, but which we should not have lost. Early in the first half Kit Cummins won a penalty when the defender slid in and blocked the shot with his arm. Unfortunately Dean McKirdy's penalty was save well by the keeper low to his left corner. Not long after we were a goal behind when poor marking allowed the winger to connect with a cross. A great passing move and finish from Dean McKirdy brought us level and then Mark McHendry hit a low drive to put us 2-1 up just before half time.
A great game and us trying to avenge an earlier 2-1 loss in the Scottish Cup. We managed to come back from 2-4 down, with Kit Cummins having scored our two early goals. Dean McKirdy scored in the second half and then an OG brought us level. Further drama followed with a soft penalty being conceded but Ben Lawton brought off a great low save, but unfortunately hurt his shoulder in the process (but stayed on as we had used all 3 subs. Chances at both ends after that but a draw was a fair result.
An excellent victory which we thoroughly deserved with some good passing football with plenty of chances created. Dean McKirdy, playing up front in this game, with Nicky McLean sweeping scored in the first minute after a good through ball from Craig Blair. Further first half goals from kit Cummins and Dean McKirdy, after he won and converted a penalty, and Stuart Taylor had us 4-0 up at half time. In the 2nd half Dean got his hat trick, Sean McGee scored and Kit Cummins also scored from the penalty spot after he won the penalty as well.
We started poorly and gave away a penalty which Ben Lawton saved low to his right. Harmony Row then scored and Alan made a few positional changes which improved us. Kit Cummins scored on his debut in the first half with a low drive from the edge of the box to bring scores level at half time. We put in a good effort in the 2nd half but Harmony Row ran out worthy winners.
This was a good open game with Clydebank going 3 goals up and then we produced a great comeback with Sean McGee and Rudy Kingwaya scoring. Despite numerous ckear cut chances we coul;dn't get the equaliser with the Clydebank keeper producing great saves from Dean McKirdy and Callum Moffat in particular. A good performance but unlucky result with a team that had Aran Whitelaw, normally in goals, playing as striker and then sweeper during the game due to injuries and absences.
Missing a couple of key players we lost to the league leaders. Callum Moffat scoring our goal.
Unlucky not to take the game into extra time, and one we were likely to then win with Haldane down to 10 men and hanging on in the 2nd half.
Good win and thoroughly deserved. We dominated the game from start to finish although Aran Whitelaw in goal had to pull off a couple of good saves in the first half. Nicky Baird scored in the first half with a great shot from the edge of the box after the ball broke to him following a good challenge from Nicky McLean. In the second half we dominated possession and Calum Moffat scored from the edge of the box. After that we missed a further few chances and were glad to go into Round 2 draw.
Scorers - Baird, Moffat
