Having easily beat Southside in a pre-season friendly we got a harder game in the first competitive game of the season. Having missed some good chances Southside scored twice midway in the first half to go 2-0 up. However, by half time we had scored 3 goals through Stuart Taylor, Sean McGee and an own goal. In the second half it took us a while to get any further goals but a double from Rudy Kingwaya saw us get 3 points.
