Sunday 28 March 10-League, Busby 4 - 5 Celtic

Scorers - Tony Guatella, Dean McKirdy, Shaun Alexander (pen), Alistair Brown
A disappointing result in what was a great game.
Celtic in the first half had a stong wind behind them and with them vying for the league championship were pushing forward and shooting at every opportunity. At half time they had established a 3-1 lead with Tony Guatella scoring our goal with a low drive into the corner. The half time team talk reminded the players that we were not out of it but within a minute of the re-start Celtic scored with a header from a corner and it looked lost. However Dean McKirdy turned in the box and shot low past the keeper to get us back in it. Shaun Alexander then kept his 100% record from penalties this season after Jack Gaskell had been fouled in the box, with the Celtic captain sent off for dissent. Incredibly an equaliser came when Alistair Gardner ran through to score. It looked like we were going to come back to win two weeks in a row from 1-4 down but a slack clearance gave Celtic the winner.
