Sunday 25 October 2009 - League Away: Busby U17 6 - 0 Pollok Juveniles

In the second game of our league double header against Pollok we achieved a second win, with a more comfortable and better performance. A few changes were made this week with central midfield pairing of Robbie Falconer and Jack Gaskell coming back in and having an excellent game. We scored an early goal with a low shot drilled in to the corner by Alistair Brown for his first goal of the season. The rest of the first half was pretty even with Pollok having the advantage of the wind. Like last week Pollok weere playing for off-side and caught us out a few times.
In the second half a good move down the right resulted in Dean McKirdy controlling the ball on his chest and hitting past the Pollok keeper. We were now completely in control and a free kick from Jack Gaskell was headed in byDavid Hayton for 3-0.  Jack himself scored number 4 after running through the middle and beating the keeper. Rudy Kingwya made it 5-0 and then Shaun Alexander scored the sixth having been moved to wing back for the last 20minutes.Six different scorers in an all round excellent performance with good performances all over the park from Alex Dempster forwards. All the substitutes also contributed with the strong perfromance continuing to the final whistle.
