In the first game of our league double header against Pollok we achieved anarrow win against the only league team we failed to beat last year. A few changes to the team this week both in terms of personnel and positions as we try to get the best out of the squad.
We had much the better of the first half  with Blair Johnson scoring direct from a corner. We also had a few really good chances with Rudy Kingwaya being the chief culprit in missing them - trying too hard to score going for power instead of placing his shots. We also had several free kicks that came to nothing with Pollok catching us offside too often.
The second half Pollok came into it more and created a few good chances with Alex having one excellent save in particular. Once again we did not create many chances in the second half and this is something we will need to look at in the weeks ahead.
