Sunday 30 August.; Busby U15 0 - 3 Eastwood U15

The Busby team started the game with 6 first team players missing from the finishing team of last year and unfortunately they have not brought in any replacements. This looks like this is going to be a big problem for the coming season .Eastwood were runners up last season so this was always going to be a tough fixture.
The first half was evenly split with each team gaining and losing possession but towards the end of the first half Busby were beginning to tire and apart from a free kick Busby never really threatened. The first half ended 0-0. The second half was a different affair and only a fantastic save from stand in keeper Jake Graham kept the match even but after 10 minutes Eastwood got the break they were looking for it was one way traffic from there on in. Poor defending gave Eastwood their chance to grab another and before the end they scored another to make it 0-3. A man of the match performance from Jake Graham in goal kept the scoreline reasonable but radical changes are required if their is going to be any improvement  for the season ahead.
