Busby (U16) 4 - 0 West Park: Sunday 24th August 2008
The first league game of the season produced an excellent result against a good West Park team from Bishopbriggs. The first half was a very even contest with our GK Michael McKinven seeing a lot of the ball but without West Park creating any clear cut chances. Just before half time Jordan McSkeane scored to give us a good lead. In the 2nd half Kit Cumming scored with a brilliant chip from 20 yards over the GK and then Busby dominated the game. Substiture Gurpal Singh scored 2 more goals before the end after some excellent link up play from several players. There were some excellent performances from many individuals. Overall a great result against West Park who will beat many teams in our league this season.
