This match kicked off in bright sunshine at Cowan Park and like the last game the boys played in it was Busby on the attack early on and they got the reward after 10 minutes when a corner floated in caused havoc in the Giffnock defence. Lewis Jamison took advantage and scored with a fine header. The game was all Busby with Callum Young causing all sorts of problems with his jinky type runs and he was rewarded with a great individual goal when he took on three Giffnock defenders to tuck away a fine goal. The game then seemed to drag with Busby thinking the job was done going in 2-0 up at half time. The second half started the way the first finished with a very lethargic Busby happy to play the game out. The game came alive again mid way through the second half when Giffnock scored with what must be a contender of goal of the season.G iffnock had a free kick from the centre circle that the big centre half hit and the ball and it went straight in, a great goal and a wake up call to Busby. With ten minutes to go Liam Kinney made the game safe with a lovely chip to make it 3-1 and that's how the game finished. In a game Busby should have had wrapped up in the first half there were some good performances from the defence but man of the match goes to Callum Young for sheer determination and hard work.
