This was a eagerly awaited game against the top of the league team Eastwood, the game was played in glorious sunshine and from the word go both teams went for it. The first 15 mins was a attacking match with end to end action, the game plan was to mark out the big Eastwood striker and the plan worked well until he had one chance that he scored with. Busby fought very hard for a equaliser and had a attempt of the post and a stonwall penalty claim refused. For the remainder of the half Busby attacked and only a great defensive display prevented the Busby forwards getting something.
The second half was more of the same Busby pushing forward but not finishing. Tempers were fraying and 2 Busby players and 2 Eastwood players got booked .Busby made two substitutions to try and get something but to no avail. Busby had a further two penalty shouts that on another day might have been given. The game finished with a Eastwood victory but this was another great Busby display but just lacking the finishing. The man of the match was Craig McFarlane who dictated the midfield.
