Another hard game for Busby U14's on a very muddy but pitch, they got off to a flyer when almost straight from kick off Busby scored through Michael Henry. This was a well worked goal after three passes Michael picked up the ball and using his pace left the defenders to to make it 1-0 after only three minutes. The game got stuck in midfield until near half time when a great move from the Barrhead defenders put through their striker to level the score at the interval. The game again got stuck in the midfield and some great Busby goal keeping kept out the Barrhead attackers. The break came for Busby midway through the second half when Liam Kinney picked out a pass and rounded the keeper to make it 2-1. The game was by no means over and like the first half Stuart in the Busby goal pulled off some great saves. With 10 minutes to go Lewis Jamison popped up to score a header from a corner to make the points safe. A hard fought match and the man of the match going to Craig McFarlane for a strong midfield display.
