Liam was quick to claim the goal which was confirmed by the coach to give Busby a 2 - nil half time lead.
The second half saw Stamperland have the wind advantage and this time it was the Busby defenders who had their backs against the wall and a fine display by Stuart in the Busby goal kept the game in Busby's favour. Busby chances were few and far between in the second half apart from a free kick well held by the Stamperland keeper. With about ten minutes to go a deflection saw Stamperland score. It was backs against the wall and great defending from Busby kept the game at 2-1. It was a hard match to pick a man of the match but new boy Johnny McEwan just edged it from Conner Harrison who also played well.
