Played on astrograss to beat the weather we suffered a defeat against midtable Arsenal BC.We were missing a few players due to illness, injuries and holidays sodebutants Chris Bonnar and Mark McHendry played for us. Dean McKirdy also played in goals as our GK was injured.We started the game well playing a lot of good football and there was some good link, on the right side, play with Chris, Mark, Alistair Gardner and Jordan McSkeane in particular. We did not create many clear cut chances though and paid the price half way through the half when we lost 2 goals.Rudi Kingwaya pulled a good goal back but just before halftime they scored a third.At the start of the second half Rudy scored again to make it 2-3. However Arsenal contined to cause us problems, with their left sided forward inparticular causing real problems for our defence, and a disappointing three further goals followed.A disappointing result after a good start to the game.
