Sun 01/02 – League Away ; U16's 1 - 4 Port Glasgow
Our first game since before Christmas and again our rustiness showed with a terrible start with a goal conceded in the first couple of minutes against a team that we beat comfortably in the first game of the season. A bumpy pitch did not help our play and we struggled to get the ball down and to play good football. A further goal scored in the last minute of the half made it an uphill struggle for the second half.Alistair Gardner and Shaun Alexander were switched from defence to centre midfield and had a good second half and a goal at the start of the second half from Rudy Lingwaya got us right into it. However we gave away a slack defensive goal as we were getting on top and a further goal right at the end made it a bad result. Rudy was sent off near the end for retaliation against one of the many, many fouls against him.
