The game was played in perfect conditions,the all weather pitch making for a fast flowing game.Only one point separated the two teams in the league so there was a lot to play for. After a even start the A team got the break from a well worked corner Craigy smashed the ball from outside the box to open the score after 15 minutes. Five minutes later another corner set up the A"s second goal that Andrew Cunningham headed in. The first half ended 2 -0. The second half started at a tremendous pace and good defending from the B"s halted a promising attack but in another attack Liam Kinney chipped the keeper to make it 3-0. The A's were mounting atack after attack and in one from the from the wing saw Michael Henry place the ball beyond the keeper to make it 4. Busby B"s pushed forward and were rewarded by a goal to make it 4-1. Straight from the kick off the A"s pushed forward and won a free kick - Liam Kinney stepped up and placed the ball top right to beat the keeper and make it 5 for the A"s. There was just no stopping the A"s and another goal from Michael Henry made it 6. Straight from the kick off a scramble outside the B"s 18 yard box led to Liam Kinney looping the ball into the goal for his hat trick and the A"s 7th. The B's could not stop the A"s attackers and Liam Kinney scored his 4th goal and took the man of the match performance after playing the first half in goal. The best result of the season and pass marks for both teams. For the A's a captains display at the back from Fraser Moxey which should set the guys up for the rest of the season.
